Joyce J. Click is a graduate in Music Education from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and holds a Master of Music Education from Butler and a Master of Science degree from Indiana University with a certification in Special Education. She also is Indiana’s first Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Music. She has taught all 40 years in the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township, on the north side of Indianapolis. She has taught music at all levels K-12 and has served as an adjunct college professor at Butler University and DePauw. In 2017, she was named a California Casualty Teacher of Excellence as well a Global Scholar by the NEA Foundation. In 2016 she was named Hoosier Educator of the Year. In 2015 she was named a Grammy Award semi-finalist as the top 25 of 5000 nationally nominated music teachers. Other awards received for her teaching, including Washington Township Teacher of the Year, Semi-Finalist for Indiana Teacher of the Year, Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, Shining Star Award, and two Lilly Creativity Fellowships. Her choirs have received superior (Gold Medal) ratings for many years as well as numerous choirs of distinction award and state finalist awards.
As a performer, she has performed with the Indianapolis Opera Company and in numerous theater productions. She serves as Children’s Music Director at St. Mark’s UMC. Mrs. Click is married to Steve Click and they have two adult children.

Michael Berg Raunick is in his sixth year as the choral director at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is responsible for 5 choirs at North Central including the nationally recognized concert/show choir, the Counterpoints. In his five years at North Central his Descants Women’s Choir were named Grand Champion in ISSMA State Show Choir for four years and Concert Choir ISSMA State Champion for two years. Last year the Descants were also named 1st Runner-up at Show Choir Nationals in Opryland. The Counterpoints were named ISSMA Show Choir Champion or Runner-up the past five years and have been Concert Choir finalists. This past year the Counterpoints were named Grand Champions at Show Choir Nationals in Opryland. Mr. Raunick has been vocal soloist at the NC Wind Ensemble Concert and soloist for the teacher show at Show Choir Camps of America. He also arranges music for his choirs and other area show choirs. At North Central he also serves as Assistant Theater Director.
Previous to North Central Mr. Raunick was the director of choirs at Waynedale High School in Apple Creek, Ohio. During his time at Waynedale choral enrollment grew by over 150% and his choirs consistently received the highest rating of a “1” at OMEA State Adjudicated Events. Mr. Raunick lives with his wife, Cara and daughter, Ruth in Indianapolis and holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He completed a master’s degree from Butler University.
